Best of friends and a quick wit:)

                                               

    Josh and Joe are the best of friends! Actually I can truly say

 that Joe is the best friend to all of our kids.

 It is a wonderful thing to see teenagers truly WANT to be with their DAD. Normally I LOVE to see them all together goofing off and being silly, other times it's just down right ANNOYING! And then there are the times their teasing and banter makes me BUST UP laughing, like it did yesterday on the way to church. Josh has such a quick wit and it was on display! As we were driving to church a large group of let's just say NOT SO young Harley riders came passing by on the other side of us. Joe has always wanted a HARLEY and quickly states " THESE ARE MY PEOPLE", without skipping a beat JOSH says "what, old and slowing decaying"!! I am not sure it reads they way it sounded by at this very moment my gut is BUSTING!  Needless to say JOE was not to thrilled with his comment but seeing as that he is OLDER than me.....It killed me:) Still want that Harley honey????

The Phantom

For her birthday we gave Kate tickets to The Phantom of the Opera. She has been dying to see another Broadway play since we saw Wicked. (my all time favorite:) 

She received two tickets so she took her good friend Katie. 

Although she preferred the movie version, I think of all the gifts she was given, a night out to dinner and tickets to the Phantom was by far her favorite:)

This is PERFECT!!

I am not much of a warm weather person, in fact if we skipped right over summer each year I would find it blissful to say the least. So waking up to 35+ degrees this morning in Florida is in my mind just perfect! I know it will not last long but I intend to enjoy it to the fullest! I am pulling out all the stops today, the hot chocolate, cozy sweats and fuzzy blankets will abound!!
